We’ve been featuring recycled crafts over the last few weeks, including crafts from recycled magazines and crafts from cereal boxes. Here are some crafts from recycled egg cartons, and these might be my favorite so far. How cute are those ladybugs? And I’m pretty sure my oldest — who is currently obsessed with dinosaurs — is going to go nuts when I show her the hatching dinosaur craft–

You may want to check out Moderncountrystyle.blogspot.com – she held a wreath making tutorial this week (including making the actual wreath base!) and is hosting a wreath party on Friday. She made a beautiful natural style orange and cinnamon wreath.

These are so cute! Our family has been using decorated egg cartons to teach phonics, but you can use the same game to teach addition, subtraction or multiplication. The children LOVE IT! http://goodolddaysfarm.blogspot.com/2011/01/ladybug-letters.html

I love doing crafts with my kids and these will be great projects to try. Plus, they can play with them when we’re done. Thanks for the great ideas.

Awwww! Thanks for mentioning SortaCrunchy, Mandi! As you know, we are long-time mutual fans. This is such a great list and mirrors mine very closely – except you tend to read a few more food/cooking blogs than I do and I have a few more lifestyle blogs, I think.

I LOVE the idea of counting down to 30, and I have to say my 30s have absolutely ROCKED. It’s the best decade, I’m just sure of it. :)

I love all of these blogs! I read Simple Mom, Kitchen Stewardship, Simple Organized Living and Blogging With Amy almost daily. Of course, Life You Way is high on my list, too. I also like to read Kludgy Mom, The Mom Writes, and Life as Mom daily. (I hope that one day I get listed on someone’s top 30 blogs!) :)
